YPFP Deputy Director of Discussion Groups (Volunteer)
This position will work closely with the Director for Discussion Groups to oversee management of the YPFP Discussion Groups program.
Responsibilities include:
1) Recruiting and training Discussion Group leaders for both new and existing groups;
2) Overseeing and supporting the operation of the Discussion Groups;
3) Maintaining records relating to Discussion Group membership, activities, and best practices and procedures;
4) Managing and overseeing the launch of new groups and regular recruiting activities;
5) Supporting the Director for Discussion Groups as necessary with strategic planning, logistical assistance, and special projects.
Moderate time commitment is expected. The Deputy Director participates in monthly Discussion Group leaders meetings and must be prepared to run these meetings from time to time.
