David Wemer is an Assistant Managing Editor, and former Europe Fellow, of the Fellowship Program at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP). David's writings on European politics have appeared in The Huffington Post, The Diplomatic Courier, Euractiv, and Real Clear World. He is the DC Program Coordinator for the Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College, a member of the German Marshall Fund's Young Transatlantic Network, and was a delegate at the 2016 Transatlantic Youth Summit hosted by the European People's Party and the International Republican Institute. In 2013, David was awarded the American Historical Association's Raymond J. Cunningham Prize for his work on the economic transition in Slovakia. David received a MSc in European Union Politics from the London School of Economics and a BA from Gettysburg College.
