Oriana Piña is a graduate student at the George Washington University, pursuing her master’s degree in Global Communications and Public Diplomacy. Oriana was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 2002. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and French from the Florida State University. During her undergraduate studies, Oriana participated in Latin American research in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a French Language Immersion Program in Angers, France. In 2012, she moved to South Korea where she worked as an English teacher and interned for the Venezuelan Embassy in Seoul. Oriana is strongly passionate about international education, community service and human rights advocacy. Her hobbies include: photography, blogging, dancing, traveling, and reading.
