Noa Meir completed her BA with distinction at Bar-Ilan University in Social Sciences, and graduated with her MA in Diplomacy and Security at Tel Aviv University.
She recently concluded her position as the Jewish Agency Israel Fellow to the George Washington University Hillel. She piloted an exclusive project between the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Jewish Agency and her responsibilities included empowering and engaging over 150 students on campus, as well as administering and managing an Israel at GW Facebook page and twitter account.
She has served as a Major in the IDF. Among the positions she carried out were: IDF Spokesperson for the North American media – she was interviewed by the foreign press as an official IDF spokesperson, and was responsible for the daily coordination of foreign press with IDF sources; Head of the North American Desk in the Foreign Relations Department - she was responsible for the military cooperation between the IDF and the US Military and oversaw/coordinated visits of senior US Generals (including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff).
She has been involved in Israel advocacy for many years, including volunteering in two Israel advocacy organizations: Israel@Heart and StandWithUs.
