Kris Garriott is a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he majored in economics and music with a minor in foreign affairs. When he was a teenager he moved with his family to Panama City, Panama after his father accepted a position with the United Nations Development Program. As a result of this experience, he learned Spanish and discovered his affinity for amateur filmmaking. What started as a hobby has led him to partner with many different organizations to create short videos showcasing their work online. He hopes to continue developing this skill in the future and is excited to see where the world of digital media is going. Currently, Kris works as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice and is pursuing a certificate in project management.
