The profile of YPFP has grown significantly in the global arena; consequently, there has been a rise in the number of internationally based YPFP members. Increasingly, the new members are located in cities that are not served by the existing branches. Consequently, YPFP implemented a context for integrating the community of internationally based members, namely, the Global Presence Initiative (GPI).
The primary purpose of the Global Presence Initiative is to create a global network of foreign policy leaders. Global Presence Initiative (GPI) serve as an avenue for drawing on the expertise of the community of non-branch global YPFP members. GPI serves as a conduit of extending YPFP benefits to global members in non-branch locations.
