Fostering the next generation of foreign policy leaders
Innovation. Inspiration. Impact.
Erin Williamson is the Vice President of YPFP Public Service, where she helps oversee the team responsible for organizing membership events aimed at giving back to the community in the DC area. The Public Service team helps provide YPFP members the chance to make a local impact working with refugees, students, and veterans, as well as with a variety of other opportunities. She is responsible for reaching out to partner organizations and providing guidance to Public Service staff in designing service projects.
Erin currently works on site for a Department of Defense project engaging the military financial management community on best practices while working with banks in expeditionary environments. Prior to that, Erin held several positions in the government and government support sector.
Originally from Florida, Erin takes every opportunity to swim, sail, row or be on the water in one form or another. She is a baseball fan (Go Rays and Nats!) and graduated from Florida State University in 2010. She enjoys participating in Eastern European cultural events around town, including trying, with a small modicum of success, to speak Russian.
