How to Help Haiti

As images, video, even satellite photos of the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti are reaching our members, YPFP has received one question again and again:
“How can we help?”
That answer is simple: Pledge your support to a reputable organization that will reach Haiti's residents quickly and effectively.

Happy Holidays from YPFP!

As 2009 comes to an end, Young Professionals in Foreign Policy is pleased to celebrate a year filled with accomplishments and successes.

Complex Operations Essay Contest

The Center for Complex Operations and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy are pleased to engage the next generation of foreign policy leaders in discussions of complex operations through an essay competition featuring PRISM. YPFP and CCO invite article submissions for PRISM from young professionals for publication in a 2010 issue of PRISM on the subjects of:
    * stabilization and post-conflict reconstruction operations
    * civil-military integration and interagency collaboration
    * modern approaches to counterinsurgency
    * humanitarian operations

Eight Years Later: Remembering September 11

All year long, members of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy study and debate international affairs. We place the professional ahead of the personal. Today I ask each of you in our global community to put intellect aside for a few moments to reflect on the devastating events that transpired eight years ago today, events that altered forever the world we share. Usually we analyze 9/11 with appropriate objectivity, but today only humanity is appropriate; only grief and reflection.
