Foreign policy leadership requires international engagement. After overwhelming success in Washington beginning in November 2004, YPFP expanded to:
- London in September 2006 As the community's transatlantic arm, YPFP London brings the distinctive non-partisan policy discussion, networking and public service concept to one of the world’s most dynamic capitols.
- New York in September 2007 YPFP's New York branch extends the community to the financial capital of the world, a major media center, the home of several leading foreign policy academic centers and think tanks, as well as the headquarters of the United Nations.
- Brussels in April 2008 YPFP's newest branch lies in heart of European policymaking. As the headquarters of the European Union and NATO, Brussels is one of the world’s most important centers of people, institutions and ideas shaping global affairs.
