Anthony Orlando is an Africa Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP). He is an Associate Consultant with WARC Consulting, based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. His work at WARC includes developing business plans and conducting market research and value chain assessments for social enterprises. He also assists with the operations of WARC's rice farm in Bonthe District, which seeks to increase the skills and access to finance and inputs for local farmers. Before joining WARC, Anthony worked as a Junior Consultant with Imani Development in Malawi as a Princeton in Africa Fellow. He also worked for USAID's Office of US Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) in Washington, DC. Anthony graduated from The University of Arizona in 2013 with a double major BA in East Asian Studies and Economics. His research interests include Sino-African relations, economic development, humanitarian and emergency response coordination, and education.
