Somalia has always suffered from a long time of insecurity due to communal wars simply because of disagreements in governance in Somalia. The war has mainly been between different clans trying to control the government. Recently the war that claimed over 1000 people in Mogadishu after the resignation of the prime Minister has greater impact in neighboring counties like Kenya due to the fleeing communities. This also impacts on economic development of this country.
It is therefore important for the African Union and the Donor community to emphasize peace keeping in this country.
