Seeking a full-time research assistant to work with several Foreign & Defense Policy Studies scholars.

Responsibilities include assisting with research tasks including defense, security and foreign policy issues pertaining to the Middle East – particularly Iraq – and Iran; editing and writing; coordinating seminars and conferences; and providing general administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in political science, international relations, or related field from a top ranked program. AEI requires excellent writing, communications and research skills. Language skills a strong plus.
