The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition is a broad-based coalition of nearly 400 businesses and organizations representing millions of Americans whose mission is to ensure continued global engagement and a robust U.S. International Affairs Budget.
These uncommon partners have come together out of a common belief that investments in the International Affairs Budget are vital to protecting America, increasing global security, promoting U.S. prosperity and supporting our humanitarian values.

A powerful and persuasive combination of voices - from defense experts, premier U.S businesses, former national security advisors, community leaders and humanitarian volunteers across the country – speaking in once voice and building a united constituency which understands that U.S. international engagement promotes the security and prosperity of every American.

Job Description

The communications department keeps the USGLC’s message prominent in the minds of policymakers and the foreign policy community through a mix of traditional and digital media. As the communications intern, you’ll help maintain our digital presence, make good content spread, and create new social media campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and update blogs, social media, and website content

  • Compile daily media clippings

  • Edit photos and videos

  • Build email updates

  • Write and design advertising for Facebook, Twitter, Google, and print media

Job Requirements

A strong candidate has some experience making things from scratch in HTML and the Adobe Creative Suite, and prefers a whiteboard to a piece of paper.
