The Manager, U.S. Resource Mobilization is a key member of the U.S. Office Team with responsibility to the Director, US Office. This post holder will focus on new business development with USAID and managing GAIN’s portfolio of grants and awards with the agency.
These duties entail extensive internal and external coordination, preparation of multi-country and multi-program work plans, updates and financial reports, and managing regular communications with USAID headquarters and the country Missions. The Manager may also support or oversee submissions for competitive bids for USAID and also manage relationships and requests for support for other US-based public and private donors. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities in this role but the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with colleagues is critical.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with USAID grants, cooperative agreements and the bid process. Further, they will be familiar with US federal regulation applicable to grants or cooperative agreements to a Public International Organization (PIO). Experience in a similar role with a global public health or international development organisation is desirable.
