Network 20/20 is generously providing 5 free seats for YPFP members to its event, "A Plan B for the Western Balkans," moderated by Tanya Domi from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
A pre-reception and post-reception will be offered to attendees.
This is a discussion and release of Network 20/20’s report on Southeast Europe. The panel discussion includes Network 20/20 members who were part of a delegation to Southeast Europe in May 2016.
Members of the delegation met with heads of state and other government officials, opposition, business, media, and NGOs to learn about regional trends and areas of concern. This report is a product of an ongoing two-year project that aims to uncover areas of opportunity and concern for business leaders and policymakers. The discussion will address questions such as: Is extremism on the rise in Southeast Europe and how does it affect the U.S. and Europe? How does the influence of foreign state actors impact the geo-political environment in the region? Why does the U.S. need to reestablish its pivotal role in the region? What are the areas of potential business collaboration between the region and the U.S? Panelists will share their own experiences and take questions from the moderator and audience."
Members may register by logging into their YPFP accounts below and clicking the RSVP button by COB Wednesday, March 15. Entry to the event is free (normally $15).
