Register now for the 2009 Annual Conference.
With a new U.S. administration in office since January, there is broad speculation about the direction and impact new American leadership will have on U.S. foreign policy and how this will be received overseas. As President Obama’s foreign policy team takes shape, YPFP will meet to discuss the future of American leadership abroad and the role of the next generation in shaping international dialogue. The format of this conference is unique and will have three distinctive features:
It will showcase our accomplished young professionals and their work. Each track will be co-chaired by a YPFP Discussion Group leader and each session will feature a young professional subject-matter ‘expert’ as a speaker alongside invited senior counterparts.
It will encourage extensive participation from foreign embassies, through participation of their talented young staffers, to ensure an international perspective is included.
In keeping with YPFP’s focus on professional development, it will include a sophisticated Career Expo; an opportunity for our members to meet leading foreign policy employers and graduate schools.
Please email Conference@ypfp.org with any questions regarding the conference program.
