Job Description

Hertog Foundation Fall 2015 Advanced Institutes.  The Advanced Institutes are weeklong seminars designed for professionals and academics with interests in public policy. Participants in the Institutes have a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts and prominent figures in U.S. public life such as Paul Wolfowitz, Eric Edelman, Michael Doran, and Elliott Abrams, among others. Past participants include journalists, scholars, lawyers, military officers, and government staffers. All institutes come with a stipend to cover travel, lodging, and time.

Our Fall 2015 Advanced Institutes include:

The War in Iraq: A Study in Decision Making with I. Lewis Libby and Paul Wolfowitz
Location: Washington, D.C.
Dates: October 26th – October 30th, 2015

Nuclear Strategy and the Crisis of World Order, with Eric Edelman and Stephen Rosen
Location: Washington, D.C.
Dates: November 2nd – November 6th, 2015

Is Israel Alone? The Past, Present, and Future of the U.S.-Israel Relationship with Michael Doran, Elliott Abrams, and Charles Krauthammer
Location: Washington, D.C.
Dates: December 14th – December 18th, 2015

Job Responsibilities

Participants are expected to: 

  • Attend all scheduled lectures, discussions, and program events.
  • Offer informed participation to all class discussions
  • Complete the assigned reading prior to each class
