Job Description

The Atlantic Council seeks a talented, customer service oriented and entrepreneurial individual to manage and operate audiovisual systems for approximately 500 events per year held in its dynamic conference space, and lead filming and post-production work for all Council videos. 

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with Council staff regarding new and existing audiovisual capabilities
• Interact with principals and VIP speakers and attendees (Heads of State, government officials, ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corp, CEOs, Board of Directors)
• Provide a dynamic audience experience
• Other responsibilities with Council events and communications teams as required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience with audiovisual systems
• B.A. degree required, communications, technical or related field highly desired
• Excellent English language written and oral communication skills (additional language skills a plus)
• Excellent and proven customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced, often rapidly-changing environment
• Project management experience preferred
• Attention to detail with ability to work under pressure with multiple and shifting priorities to meet deadlines 
• Ability to work independently and within a team across the organization
• Multi-cultural experience, background and interest in international affairs and policy desired
• Experience with the following systems, platforms and programs preferred: Biamp, Crestron, Adobe software suite, Skype, Adobe Connect, Google Hangout, Cisco codec-based system, C-Scape, BrightSign, SoundCloud, Twitter and cable news feeds
• Basic knowledge of Livestreaming and Wirecast a plus
