Communications Strategy. Help lead an aggressive traditional and digital communications strategy alongside our stakeholders that breaks through the noise. The strategy involves reaching out to diverse communities, including the press, political, and public policy sectors, along with USGLC's diverse and growing business, NGO, veteran, and faith voices.
Media and Press Outreach. Develop and implement media outreach efforts in select states, with a particular emphasis on USGLC's robust events schedule. Coordinate rapid response communications plans. Build relationships with reporters and bloggers, and create media opportunities for our state network leaders.
Message & Material Development. Help lead the writing and editing of fresh, provocative, and timely internal and external content for USGLC stakeholders. That content includes media messages, op-eds, talking points and materials that are designed to influence both broad audiences and busy policy-makers. The Deputy will help oversee design and production of both print and online materials that support our digital platforms and live events.
Digital Campaign Management. Help develop and oversee a team that mobilizes consistent and creative campaigns, as well as multimedia content for all our digital platforms including USGLC's web sites, Impact 2016 initiative, blog, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and email.
