Job Description
Aviation Week, the world’s top aerospace reporting and analysis firm, has an immediate opening for a part-time research assistant to support the fleet data and analytics team. The position is for 20 hours per week at $12 per hour.


Job Responsibilities
Duties will include researching U.S. and international Aircraft Parts Suppliers, Companies, and Personnel. Writing opportunities will include drafting program profiles for commercial airplanes and possibly contributing to newsletters, websites, or issue analyses.


Job Requirements

  • Ideal candidate is a graduate student focusing in a field of Aerospace Studies, Journalism or Business Management.

  • Familiarity with aerospace programs and equipment is desired.

  • Pluses include experience with and understanding of:

    • Company and supplier research

    • Commercial airplane components, supply chain and maintenance

    • Databases - Microsoft Access, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, etc.
